[ the fire thing sure is a way to describe it because now he's ??? scrutinizing gingham's appearance to look for any immediate signs of fire related left-overs but. after a moment nods. ]
Visions first it is, then. But I am so not letting you forget about the second part of that sentence.
Don't look burned? But around here that can mean anything and I don't think you'd just say i tlike that if something bad happens but it... yeah, it sure sounds ominous.
Let's see... So I went into a room in our cabin, but for some reason the room had a path of stars leading up to it where it hadn't before. And when I went in, the path looked like it was going up into the clouds, so I started following it.
Me too! But it did and I've decided not to think about the physics involved.
So I kept going and this little ball of light was kind of flying around me and then went off in front of me, so I followed after it... But I had this weird sense I was being watched while I did? By the stars, maybe. And it seemed like whoever or whatever was watching was talking, but whenever I tried to talk to them, they just went quiet.
Nah. The light thing - maybe light person, we'll get to that in a second - stopped in front of me like they were waiting, so I went forward and got to this patch of grass? In the clouds.
The grass was almost, like, see through... So I guess that matches clouds, sure. And there were these eight towers also made of light, surrounding a bonfire.
Eight towers of light doesn't sound like a coincidence.
[ He thinks about the showmaster's explanation and the statements of there must always be 8 families, anyway, ] Was there something special about the bonfire?
So - talking to whoever was watching early didn't work, but I tried to talk to the light, and it started leading me to this big table with a bunch of food. We worked out this thing where it would roll over once for yes and two for no, and I asked if the food was safe since they were leading me to it, and they said yes. I figured it was a sign to eat some, so I took some of the fruit, and - it gave me a really nice feeling. I don't know how to describe it.
[ It's a good thing that they're alike in the Stupidest ways because whatever instict he has to be sus is like.... Nah, following a weird sentient floating light is legit. What could go wrong. ]
[ So he nods, like this is a perfectly reasonable thing to have done and not potential poison. ]
So after that I went back to the towers of light, and I got the idea that they were sentient but didn't want to talk. Touching them felt, like - for whatever reason, I could tell they were really powerful.
Yeah. Since the fruit made me feel really happy I picked some of it up and dropped it into one of them, but it just made them all go to the table, not to talk to me.
It's not ominous! It was really nice to me the entire time and I asked it where to go and it flew into the bonfire so I walked into the bonfire after it okay fun story vision time now what's first—

[ He's already sitting down and tapping the floor!! Like this is his room and not Ginghams, come sit down. ]
More of a commentary of how it's hard to get comfy around here.
Re: day 238 - evening/late night
So... Where do we wanna start?
Re: day 238 - evening/late night
Are you feeling vision-y? Are do you wanna talk about your other weird thing?
[ he's going to steal off the plate while he says that, ty ]

Actually maybe now we should start with that because I didn't mean to sound ominous but I'm realizing I probably did.

Following so far?
Re: day 238 - evening/late night
I'm following. But I am also insanely confused about how a room goes to the clouds.

Re: day 238 - evening/late night
Did you manage to find a way to talk with them?

Re: day 238 - evening/late night
Grass in clouds. Okay, did it at least match aesthetically? I guess it had to be significant in some way to be tehre.

It sounds like it was a friend.

Re: day 238 - evening/late night
So. If you were able to talk to them it's a "not yet" kind of thing at best.
Re: day 238 - evening/late night
Re: day 238 - evening/late night
If you couldn't talk to them and the... light spirit guy was kind of guide, did you to talk to anyone? Was it the bonfire?
Re: day 238 - evening/late night
So I didn't know what to do next, since I'd looked everywhere, and I asked the light if it knew.

Remember that I said I didn't get hurt at all and please don't freak out at the next part.

I'm making 0 promises right now. You're a very ominous storyteller.
