It was the same guy as the last one, just - less embarrassing. They were just talking about, like, what their lives were like before they met each other. Like, normal bonding stuff.

There's some stuff I didn't get about it, but I'm glad he made a friend, at least.

[ He nods. ]

You say that like you're not sure he had a friend before... but I mean, I guess that is kind of harder with royalty. Were they still in that forest?

I don't know. I mean - they both mentioned being lonely back home, so... I'm actually not sure.

[nods to the question, though]

Seemed like it, yeah.

... Well. There's all kinds of different lonely out there, it's good that meeting each other helped.

[ genuinely happy for him for that! though he does look a little amused, ]

Somehow I think he'll live with that. It didn't seem like he was having a panic attack this time, at least.

Oooh. If they're on a whole trip he definitely has more time for that. But I am glad you got to see him, like, play it cool.

I think it was more sincere than cool, but - I'll definitely take it over the last one. Seems like they had a while to get more comfortable.

Sorry, that came out wrong, that's more along the lines of what I meant? That at least you're not just sitting on that as some of your impressions... though I guess you've seen him before.

Yeah. I don't know how long they were traveling, but - it seems like they wanted to keep in touch once it's over, at least. So that's good, too.

[ chews on a bite of cheese as he listens. ]

If they're traveling through a forest it'd probably take a while. Hopefully, they're better equipped to deal with being chased by things as a duo.

Soooo you know how I said his kingdom was, like, slowly being taken over, and also that I didn't know how he got away from his mom and to the forest?

So. Um. It got less slow really abruptly! And he ran off while everyone was distracted.

[ Thinks about it: ]

So the forest attacked and he ran away, is that it?

Not quite away, more like he ran towards it...? Um. When everything went haywire someone pulled him aside and gave him, like, a really vague explanation, but then they got hurt before they could finish telling him what to do.

[ He knows that the kingdom is under attack, but he's - ]

An explanation about what? Did I miss that part?

More importantly are you... okay after seeing that? [ an attack and someone getting hurt. ]

No, not really. Just like - I knew he was going to the forest to try to stop it, but I guess I didn't consider that there's probably a specific way to stop it. So, someone was trying to tell him how, but they couldn't get the whole explanation out before they got hurt. Something about a prophecy and breaking a curse...?

[sighs]

So. More fantasy novel nonsense, it seems like. I'm fine - and I think everyone in the vision was going to be fine, too? The guy he was talking to seemed hurt, but not like, on the brink of death. I guess I won't know until I get one where he comes home after everything's fixed. I mean, if everything gets fixed. Although it's probably not a great sign that there's, like, a set answer for how to fix it and he doesn't actually know what that answer is...? But maybe he learns it later. Or—

...Okay, yeah, maybe I'm a little stressed.
