I've had like half the night to think about this and there's still so much I could still say not enough.

You're genuinely the best person I know. You're good, like so good. And you care about the people around you a lot. You're always worried about them or trying to care for them. And even when you don't have to you try so hard to be there for them and you're a great listener.

And I know you don't think you have a talent, but I think you're wrong and you just can't see it. Your talent is with people and how easily you can make them feel at home with you.

But I also think you're braver and stronger than you give yourself credit for. You're probably the bravest person I've ever met. We don't talk about it - but I know you've been through a lot, but you're still looking forward? You're finding your own place and you never fail to look out for the people around you while you do.

[ no, this is good. it'd better than he could have asked for. the pleased noise from before having him once more turning to deepening the kiss as his own free hand wraps itself against the side of gingham's shirt. ]

[he shifts his hand so it's running through phoenix's hair, idly running his thumb across the space there, making sure to be careful of the scars. he starts to glow lightly without really realizing it]

[ he usually doesn't like when people mess with his hair, but with gingham it feels nice. a small pleased sound only interrupted by the awareness of new light against his eyelids. blinking them open for a brief second before deciding no that's cute and worth it and pulling the other boy closer as he shifts to pull them into a more comfortable position on the bed without pulling away. ]

[shifting along with him to lay back on the bed, which means he's accidentally shifting directly onto a half eaten plate of eggs that he left on the bed like a fool!!

then shooting straight up again in surprise, quite possibly headbutting him in the process given their current proximity]

[ which is to say that the sudden alarm that shoots through gingham shoots through him, but before he can register it he's not quite getting headbutt - but he sure is getting hit in the nose hard with a head. same difference - ]

[ gingham gets up and he falls back onto the bed one hand dislodging enough to rub his nose - ]

Soooo it turns out the eggs were still on the plate and the plate was still on the bed. Betrayed by breakfast...
