That thought does assume we might get them one day. And they're not blessings and I already have mine.

[ That's his attempt at being hopeful that maybe it's possible even if looking in the mirror scares him. ]

[ shifts to pick up his plate again. he doesn't take the diary back yet. giving him a partly amused, knowing glance:]

Kind of sucks it's hard not to feel some level of responsible about it, huh?

[ because he knows gingham has his own worries about visions. ]

We don't know for sure it will, yeah, but - I think it's worth keeping in mind as a possibility.

[pops another piece of bacon in his mouth with a little sigh]

[ Gives a small nod. It feels like a possibility. ]

[ Shifts to close the diary and put it to the side. ]

- In case you worried about it, I don't write about only him in here. I write about everything important to me, even if it caused some trouble in the past.

[tilting his head]

[ he swallows something down a little and - he's just going to take his hand at that. ]

[ shakes his head. ]

I've always been afraid of forgetting again so I've written stuff down for forever. It was before we really knew each other, but someone got a hold of it and was like - just a bunch of stuff about me figuring out my feelings or whatever. It was bad at the time, but I'm letting them take something away that was comfortable to me.

[takes it easily, entwining their fingers]

Whoever that person is, they're a huge jerk.

[ smiles some before leaning over to press a kiss to his cheek and then lean his head on his shoulder. mildly, jokingly: ]

Good thing they can't see how I have way more than three pages about you in it now.

[ ... and goes to steal a piece of his bacon at that. is this bullying? ]

Ooh, the suspense...

[and then, after the bacon theft:]

And betrayal too!

It makes me feel way better to have you here. Because you're super compassionate and caring and I never have to worry about telling you pretty much anything.

I trust you more than basically anyone else here.

[ He breathes out as he listens. Finding it harder to not say something as he goes on. At the last statement, he squeezes his hand as if to say "ditto" or in his heart - really - it's that's so much (in a good way). And shifts to lean against his shoulder a little more again.]
